Any person or Company that wishes to trade or import into Malta, food, food contact materials, food supplements, feed stuffs or animals must be registered with the Food Safety Commission.
1. All Traders must comply with the Trading Regulation, 2004 (L.N 315 of 2004)
2. No person shall act as Trader without registering with the Food Safety Commission.
3. Any person who applies with the Food Safety Commission must have an established company address.
4. The Food Safety Commission shall keep a register of all traders issued with a trading registration number.
How to Apply
Fill in the below online form, print it, sign it and deliver to:

Applications will be accepted from Monday to Friday between 8:00AM to 12:00PM, at the Food Safety Commission.
